Welcome to TtEDSC project for Australian Independent schools. TtEDSC had its origins in the Broadband Enabled Education and Skills Services (BEESS) program and was one of 12 Deployment Trial initiatives funded. The program was part of the federal government's wider Digital Economy strategy. The project is currently in a transitional stage where the original 11 services offered to 88 project schools are being distilled down to a sustainable offering for all independent schools nationally. We continue to utilise Broadband Technology to deliver innovative content and service options with an emphasis on synchronous web and video conferencing educational experiences for staff and students of our member schools.
Schools are offered a vast range of virtual collaborative opportunities. The National Presentation Network (NPN) offers:
Other core Video Conference offerings to students are the National Virtual Debating Program and Expert Lesson Series.
This site is now potentially the place for all Australian independent schools and Associations of Independent schools (AISs) to collaborate and realise the benefits of shared effort with virtual technologies. If you work for an independent school or an AIS you can obtain a login by clicking the "Register" button on this page. Please browse the site and use the "Contact Us" links if you require any further information.
